Kahli Scott is a writer based in Queenstown, Aotearoa New Zealand. She writes stories that play on the edges of reality and blend the literary with the speculative, while exploring themes of love, nature, creativity and magic.

Her debut novel, Our Common Thread was published in 2026 by Little A.

Born in the freezing north of Canada and raised on the subtropical east coast of Australia, Kahli completed her BFA in creative writing at Queensland University of Technology. She moved to Queenstown in 2018, where she now resides with her fiancé and cat, working as the manager of the regional film office and writing as the sun rises over the mountains.

Kahli is represented by Adria Goetz of KT Literary.
